How can I download all the photos from my iphone to my PC

When I plug my iphone into my laptop, clicking on my phone and opening the internal storage, it tells me the storage is empty! But I can see my photos but cannot download them. What can I do?

Make sure your iPhone is on when plugged into the PC and select Trust when prompted.

There's a third party app of some sort for file transfer over wifi. This is an area where apple products can prove incredibly frustrating.
