How can I fix a Toshiba Satellite C855 laptop keyboard problem?

Toshiba Satelite C855 laptop keyboard problem

my keyboard was working perfect until last night when
about half of the keys stopped working all of a sudden.

do i just need a new keyboard or could it be something
deeper in the computer?

On satellite serie should bde easy check keyb. With a flat screwdriwer, remove upper plastic under the screen, and you could lift keyb from top for checking flat cable, if broken or unfixed on motheroard.
