How can I force windows 10 to select my private wifi over the hotspot when I'm home?

I have a private wifi at my home and a hotspot from optimum. I don't want to delete the hotspot because I use it at many locations but not at my home. How can I force windows 10 to select my private wifi over the hotspot when I'm home?

Don't make the hotspot Connect Automatically (i.e. remove it and add it without auto connect).

Sure you have to click connect once when out but you don't have to login.

You could also try and prioritize the connections but that is dangerous as if your phone is closer to your laptop...
