How can I get my calendar app working on my Lumia 620?

Calendar App Not Working on Lumia 620

I'm using a Lumia 620 and it's not a new phone. I don't know if this was a problem before or something that happened now, I did a reset on the phone before using it and post that I did not restore from any of my backups.

But strangely, the calendar app refuses to open. It shows an entry on my lockscreen (not sure how stake that is) - but I cannot open the calendar app.

The phone is running WP81.

Microsoft introduced an updated Mail & Calendar app a couple of months ago. (Yes, they are both actually a single app.) Uninstall the app on your phone, and then download the current app from the store, and see if that helps.
