How can I get Windows 10 to run iTunes?

I installed windows 10 but it wouldn't run Itunes

Once I installed windows 10 I couldn't open I tunes so I reinstalled windows 8. Now a lot of my documents have disappeared. I have looked in hidden files & there is nothing there, I looked for an old history folder but there isn't one.What can I do to get me documents back. I contacted windows but they havn't replied.
