Install windows 8.1 clean

I want to install windows 8.1 clean. I don't have a cd key as windows 8 was pre-loaded on my lappie. As I want to install it clean how to locate the cd key?

Search for a program called magic jellybean, it can pull your key from the laptop so you can make note of it.
