How can I see running background apps on my nokia lumia 925?

I want to see all the apps running background in my phone i.e anything like task manager.

long pressing the back button will show you open apps

Windows Phone was designed so the user won't have to futz with things like "processes", "task managers" and other things. The recent apps view Chintan mentioned is, for the most part, all you got.

Apps are killed and whatnot automatically and generally you use the view to switch between apps or kill a misbehaving one.
