If you are referring to the FB app that is a known bug the that I am getting sick off. So I use Internet Explorer to log on to FB.

I use both app and IE to check on my FB. Its surprising how different things are absent and/or changed in either.

Yes then I have to open the app any way so it deletes the message that shows up in the live tile even though I have already read the message in IE
