How can I trigger Cortana to reply without an action?

Is it possible to just trigger cortana to reply without an action... I want to wind my mates up when they visit so want say 'hey cortana i have guests' trigger 'who is your guest?' then use new trigger for their names 'joe bloggs' trigger 'oh no not that *****(house rules) so it gives the effect i am having a conversation with her? any help is appreciated...
