Windows 10 upgrade

HI all, I have brought a new windows 8.1 computer in Kos Greece, I want to upgrade to windows 10, the download seems to come in Greek.

Question: if i download windows 10 on this computer will the version all be in Greek? and if it is, would I be able to change the version from Greek to English?

Thanks in anticipation.

Re: Windows 10 upgrade

Best bet is to ensure the language on the computer is set to English either US or UK versions (maybe dependant on keyboard). Then download the Media Creation Tool if you haven't already got the option. When Windows 10 has been downloaded ready for install, there is the usual option at installation to set the language and keyboard to the language and region you need.

Hope that helps.

It will get setup in the language u are running now. So doesn't matter if u are in Greece.

Re: Windows 10 upgrade

Some versions of Windows are "single language" editions. If upgrading a single language edition, you will get a single language edition.

Rumoured - If you use the media creation tool, doesn't it download 32/64 bit and all languages, or does it include basic setup info on selected language and download the language pack as part of the updates ? Never been to sure on that one.
