How can I use lte on lumia640?

I've used lumia640 for half years and i can't use lte for then. I can use other cellular things. It seems I can't use a lte data with 'LTE' sign on my tools bar. How can use it?

Not all lumia devices support LTE feature. All new lumia devices and a few old lumia devices like 1520, 1320, 1020, 920 support LTE feature. However, iyou won't get the LTE option on settings. It would show as 4G on the settings menu.

1. This depends on LTE availability in your area. Does your service provider offer LTE? (Probably does)
2. This depends on your phone, the 640 came in both 3G and 4G/LTE models, if you have a non-LTE 640, that's it.
3. Even if you have an LTE 640, if the LTE frequencies don't align with your service provider's, then no LTE. This is how some people could own the LTE-capable 930 but only get 3G on AT&T in the US.
