Hard reset is probably your best bet.

It doesn't install Win 10 by accident... you need to go through 2 or 3 screens of yes i really want to do this before it installs. You can have the insider app without installing Win 10.

Did you actually go through the steps to install Win 10 or are you just assuming it is installing Win 10 because you downloaded the App? Perhaps the update is not Win 10.

Go back to Windows (phone) 8.1

The Idea of the insider program is that you stay up to date with released builds.

Why don't you just install it since the 3rd build will be released this week? I've been using W10 TP for more than 3 weeks now on my 1520. There are issues but they are manageable.

We will see if the new build is really coming this week. It was announced to be released two weeks ago.

There's no definite dates for any release to any of the Insider rings. MS often say they're "hoping" or "aiming", but they never give a date.

What I did was after I got the Win 8.1 Update 2 on Windows Insider, I reset my phone to factory settings.

The OS was still there but needed to Resinstall stuff <-- Do not reinstall and activate Insider again. :)

Anyway I uninstalled it because it ate up my Prepaid load credits.
