How do I change my Microsoft account on my Lumia 925?

How do I close my Microsoft account and make a new one? I have tried for weeks now - new password etc. but nothing Works and I can?t update my phone till it works:unhappy:

Hard reset your phone to remove your Microsoft id from your phone then after reset during initial setup you will get an option to add Microsoft account. Just create a new account and add it
