Ive just bought my first Windows phone (always had a iphone).
I cannot connect it to my mac.
The iPhoto app connects to my Lumia, but nothing else.

Ive "googled" the problem, but just comes up with the "Windows Phone App", thats not in the Mac app store anymore.

Is there a 3rd party app/program availible?

If not I'm going back to my iphone.

Thanks for any help.

Thanks for the reply.
I found a temporary solution in the 3rd link, using the FTP Server app on my phone and the Cyberduck app on my Mac. ( Youtube video was very helpful).
Its a bit long winded way of doing it, but seems to work ok.
Hopefully MS & Apple will get there act together and sort something more permanent.
Thanks again.

Think you could go a bit more into detail or at least provide us with the vid link :D love to have it

Type this into Youtube (I'm not allowed to post Links)
"How to copy files between Lumia and Mac"
(The video picture has a yellow arrow and yellow box)

Very easy video to follow (turn the sound off, awful music)
If I can follow the instructions (Windows phone novice), anyone can.

I wandered for this for quite a while, here's wat i think is the best option:-

1. Install any linux on virtualbox.
2. install ntfs-3g package in linux.
3. share a folder between ur mac and linux.

All done !!

Can't you just mount the phone? Mac PCs run unix, right? (I haven't used a Mac since System 6 so am not up to date.)
