How do I disable Windows Phone Buttons while the phone is locked?

Disabling Windows Phone Buttons While The Phone is Locked

The issue is this: I got myself a phone case cover. The front part of it presses these buttons when sliding it on and off. This causes the phone to repeatedly reboot draining its battery life.

Is there a way we can stop the buttons from working just while the phone is locked? The power button is my main concern, not fussed about the volume and camera buttons unless they're going to be the same issue in regard to my phone's battery life.

Phone model is Lumia 635.

Do you mean you want to disable the main function of the power button?

Yes, would like to disable the main power button, providing it is possible to turn it back on of course without relying on that button.
