Windows phones have no viruses so no need for antivirus software. You probably get popups but these are fake.

Windows phones don't suffer from virus & there is no anti virus available as it's simply not needed. Sounds more like an annoying web pop up, some web forums I visit either pop up that I've won a I phone OR they try & direct me to Google play store.

Small doubt..., if we download any infected attachment from email and open it will the virus spread or not ?

There are no virus for windows phone, again.
The viruses that work with windows10 dont work with windows phone (if thry are not universal app, in that case...)
