Just add your MS account to the phone. Then sync the contacts in the address book. That should do it (at least it did on mine)

There is no other way to download contacts from WP. Some phones have a transfer app (my Sony does) but I don't know if Samsung does. But you don't really need that.

Your contacts are all in the cloud associated with your various email accounts.

I have the same question. So please tell me where are these contacts in the cloud. Certainly not in my live.com or gmail accounts....

That's where I find my contacts. When I had Gmail all my phone numbers saved to there.


Now on Outlook (or live) that is where they are. Under the People Tile. Email addresses and Phone numbers.




On your phone, open People > elipses ("..." in bottom right) > settings




Add accounts that may be missing, make sure your Filter is including the accounts you want to see. If you are using the outdated Contacts Saved to SIM, import them.
