How do I get my Blackjack to stop pinging the data network?

It's annoying since I don't use data all day long. Or is that normal for 3G? I'm not sure I remember that on any other phone. Thanks!

I was just thinking maybe it's because I might have scheduled it to check for email. I guess I'd better check my settings.

I reset the phone, solved the problem. Too bad no one comes over here.

agree - for pretty much anything else other than a treo, you need to go elsewhere. They should just keep adding forums to Treocentral!

Well, that's going to take some getting used to, IMO. I much prefer hanging out at TC rather than any of the sister, or Mother, sites. TC is really one of the best forum sites on the web visually-wise, IMO. Readability is important and TC has just always been a pleasure to the eyes.

(And I am probably the ONLY person who would actually reply with that feedback!)

I think people will start visiting WMExperts if we actually move the forums for the WM-based Treos (such as 700wx, 750) over. But I'm not sure the negative effect on TC if it does happen. I noticed that the 750 forum is not as lively as other PalmOS-based forums.

Yeah, they're Treos so they'll need to stay. FWIW, those forums *are* here on wmexperts.
