How doI get my computer to sleep

I have set power options to turn off display and put machine to sleep. It will not sleep unless I do it manually. How do I fix this?

Re: How doI get my computer to sleep

In Settings - System - Power & Sleep, Click on "additional power settings" and make sure a custom power plan isn't overriding the basic settings you've chosen.

In addition to Ed's: make sure that the "Sleep" option is checked/enabled in Control Panel > Power Options > System Settings > Shutdown settings. If it is greyed out, simply click on "Change settings that are currently unavailable" towards the top of the said window.
