How do I get my massively enlarged icons and wallpaper back to normal size?

Somehow I accidently enlarged my desktop icons and wallpaper. I cannot figure out how to shrink them back to the original size.

Press Ctrl (or Alt) and scroll "down" with your mouse wheel
