How do I get my PC off of repairing C: disk drive screen?

I have a Toshiba PC, and for a few months now, it has been stuck on 1% on the scanning and repairing disk drive (C. I have tried to pass by the scan by pressing any button when it gives the option, but then it just gets stuck on a black screen. I have let the computer sit on the repair screen for 10 hours straight, and it doesn't get off of 1%. I just bought this computer in the past 3 or 4 years, and I really need it to work again.

might be a that some os files are corrupt and you are stuck here forever!
or

your C partiton is badly corrupted , may i know what windows are you on?

clean install of windows might fix it or there are 3rd party apps to perform the same job
