how do I increase the volume on lumia 550 alarm notification?

The normal level of music on a 550 is fine, why is the alarm volume so low?

They fixed the alarm volume ramp in Redstone, soon in Threshold too. Check updates regularly (both win10 and apps)

The alarm volume is tied to the ringer volume I think.

And if its just too soft regardless, I'd hard reset the phone. Not sure what happens but erasing the phone cleaned up the issue for me a few months ago.
