How do I launch multiple tabs in Edge?

I would like a couple of homepage tabs to open, when I launch Edge. The option to add a new tab/page in Settings is grayed out.

Example, when I launch Edge, the first tab will be the Edge homepage, the next tab I want to be say...facebook or twitter.

The option to add the extra tabs are not available.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong?
