How to make the Nokia software recovery tool detect windows phone 8.1 D.P.

I think the problem is the USB Driver for connecting with the tool.

I checked my phone's Driver . the driver is for Windows phone 8 not for windows phone 8.1 D.Preview.

I think that's why I can't use the tool and under grade.

Please help me to resolve this matter.

I need the Drive!! T.T help me!

Re: How to make the Nokia software recovery tool detect windows phone 8.1 D.P.

First try doing a soft reset -> Hold volume down and power button together until the phone vibrates. Phone will restart. No data is lost.

See if anything is fixed.

If your phone doesn't connect to the computer after that, try the following:

You haven't mentioned what OS you are using. I'm going to guess Windows 7?

I'm going to give instructions for Windows 7 if you're using 8 it's only slightly different.

Remove your phone from the USB cable if connected.

Start -> Control Panel -> Programs -> Uninstall Programs (click the link underneath)
Once in there, uninstall anything to do with Nokia Cable drivers.
Click OK to any pop ups

Next

Start -> Control Panel -> Hardware and Sound -> Device Manager (click OK to any pop ups)
under Portable Devices you'll find Windows Phone right click and click Uninstall. If a pop up comes up saying if you want to delete the driver click Yes.

Restart your computer.

Once your computer is up and connected to the internet connect your phone to the computer in an unlocked state. Then wait for the drivers to install. This will take some time.

Then you should be able to use the recovery software.
