How do I name photos I've taken (Lumia 925)?

Um...so is it possible to name photos that i have taken? Cant see how i do this.

You can rename them.
If you use for example this app.http://www.windowsphone.com/s?appid=762e837f-461d-4847-8399-3526f54fc25e
If you open Files you can go to your camera roll and if you tap on a picture then one of the options is "rename"

So i need an app!?! I dunno whether to laugh or cry.
Have windows ever explained why this super hi tech feature is missing?

I can see me going back to Android im afraid. Cant believe a company the size of Microsoft have such a poor, clunky phone. Its like its in beta stage.

Another way would be to use one drive if you have that on your phone.

see it as a digicam
the name of photos taken with a digicam is based on the digicam's filenaming system
same goes for a lumia phone
renaming photos is optional but not necessary
but i understand a basic feature such as file explorer should be (in default) available in lumia phones

Hmm, yeah perhaps. I see where your coming from. Still, bit of a cop out if you ask me.

I know with Dslr's you can set what all your pics will be saved as. I imagine, if not already, point n shoots will have the same option. Whereas WP lags behind. They want to get theyre finger out imo.

First explain what you mean by 'name'.
Do you mean entering text on the picture?
Do you mean naming the file?
