How do I revert back to the file extension in original format?

how to revert back the file extention in original format

due to some unknown virus my all data files extension has been changed into .drunfmk. what will be the solution to revert back excel, doc and jpg files

Restore from a recent backup. If you have no backup then you will need to manually change the extensions on your data files.

You *do* have a recent backup??
