How do I separate info on 2 Lumia phones?

Info on 2 lumia phones

I have a Lumia 920 and my wife has a lumia 620.
Hotmail messages and appointments on my agenda appear also on my wifes lumia 620.
How to separate these two phones?

Do they use the same account? If so she needs her own account. I'm assuming that you did it this way to avoid paying for an app twice?

Unselect your calendar in calendar app settings in Lumia 620.
