How do you delete instant message conversations on Skype?

I like to use Skype for instant messaging on my 8x. But I have tried everything an I can't seem to figure out how to delete previous conversations. Is it not possible to do this?

You can mark all your messages as “read” by pressing and holding the recent header

It is a huge privacy threat. I just removed skype from my lumia 920. Long pressing the "recent" header does mark all the messages as read, however that doesn't contribute towards the requirement. Let us wait another few months until Skype evolves

Yes, you can't do anything within Skype at least for the time being.
There's a sinple tool Delete skype history network edition (Delete Skype history for one and more contacts on your computer - Delete Skype History Standard Edition)
that deletes IMs off my device for good. You'll never have them returning.

All what MS does best is fire fighting, they can't do things first time right most of the time.
