How do you ensure e-mail attachments do not contain virus when using windows phone 8 Lumia 930

Seeking virus protection for Windows phone (WP8). Some feedback suggests you do not need one but how do you ensure e-mail attachments do not contain a virus. Symantec only offer Android and iOS support.

Because Winphone is sandboxed, if an attachment contains a virus, it functionally has nowhere / nothing to attach to / infect ,,,
It can't invade the phone OS (currently).
