How do you feel about a HP ZBook G3 w/ i7-6820HQ, 16gb Ram and 512SSD in 2020?

I recently purchased a factory sealed N.I.B. HP ZBook G3. It has a 6th gen i7, 16GB Ram and 512 SSD. A few years ago it was considered to be quite a beast and designed for much more than I will ever use it for. How do you feel about using a 2-3 year old high end processor for basic home computing? Even though it's 4 gens old it seems to be more than capable in 2020. Thoughts??

For most people, who want basic internet browsing, MS office etc. it's still fine to use to be productive. Not so much though for working in 3D, latest games, CAD etc.

, well the cpu is a H/HQ which draw more power than usual U cpu's in laptops, as a result it is similar to a i5-8250u/i7-8550u (the latter do have more performance during short bursts but your cpu is probably faster in longer heavy computing sessions). This is still quite good for laptops and good enough for most solidworks and CAD etc projects (the gpu/videocard might be dated though for 3d programs).

I'm a web browser (Chrome), MS Office user and social media user. It seems more than capable for that. I delete all bloatware and disable useless programs at startup.
