How do you set up microSD card?

First time to use a microSD Card. I inserted it into the slot inside the back cover. When I go to settings --> System --> Storage, the only option there is "this device."

Saw this same issue 30 mins ago, what kind of SD card are you using? I'm using a 64GB Sandisk Extreme Pro, I wonder if they need to be formatted first using a pc?

I haven't used a MicroSD in a windows phone since the old Samsung Focus integrated storage mess lol

Corrupted maybe? how old or new is it?

Well, it should detect fat32, ntfs (according to some) and exfat. If the card isn't automatically detected, format it in a pc. Up to 32GB is fat32 friendly, 64GB and up exfat.

It is a new card, never been used. Sandisk 64 GB ultra microSDXC.

So I power cycled my phone a couple more times and it finally recognized my Sandisk 64GB Extreme Pro card, not sure why it took it a few boots though. Seems to be working fine now.

I formatted my card on the PC, copied files I wanted to be there, put it in the phone and the card was immediately recognized. Since Windows Mobile 10 is still Windows, read ****ty file system, you need a volume set up on the storage for the OS to use it. Wish Windows would support ext4.

I think maybe you did not push it into the slot, after I inserted mine and powered on the phone, it asked immediately how should I use the card.
