How is the 640 XL Handling The Redstone Builds?

How is the phone doing in the fast ring Redstone builds? Any major issues?

Well, I would check out the Known Issues thing for each build which has some what-to-expect stuff.

But personally, I have a 640, which is similar internally, except in size.
The last build was "eh." It had features, but was too unreliable for me. Some people are fine with being in the Insider program, some aren't. Also combined with how some people have a graceful experience while it's less pretty for others depending.

with that said (or what xandros wrote), I belong to the folks with a more graceful experience. My son's 640 on the other hand doesn't handle the redstone build well and keeps doing funky stuff. I've only experienced the known issues so far (e.g. groove, quick action icons etc.).
I am quite happy with it. But again - YMMV.

14332 worked really well on my 640XL, 14342.1003 was really bad with a number of issues and bad battery drain as my phone went from 2 days use on single charge to 6 hours or less. Used WDRT to go back to 8.1 then jumped on the slow ring and have ben running 14295 with no issues and back to 2 days battery. Been contemplating trying the latest 14342.1004 since it fixed the battery drain but haven't decided yet.

Wait until the next update.I have the 1004.Its very nice and stable(I love the new future's and the new store) but the battery drain is very annoying.
The last build has some issues like cellular data from action center but the problem solved now .
Just wait until the next update if you have only one b phone.
