How long does it take for the xbox 360 trade in $$money$$ to arrive?

I'm sending my Xbox 360 to MS. I did not realize you could trade in by mail. I'd hate to bring in my outdated and dirty console in the store. How long does it usually take if I send it this week? Hopefully BEFORE the holiday sale ends on Jan.
