How much data does music streaming use?

I have always been curious about you guys who stream your music through your phone. I don't do it myself for fear of going over the data cap and getting charged for it. How much data does streaming music take up? Do you listen to it only when you are on wifi? I would probably do something like iheartradio or pandora if I knew how much data I'm going to use. I use the nokia music app and download for offline but some types of music don't belong in the categories they have listed.

Few Mb a song is the max. Don't use HQ streaming.

needless to say, my 300 MB cap is dinky enough to where i would never think of it

I use a mixture of local and streaming music to cut down the data usage. I have a 5GB plan though.

It close to 60mb per hour .

That's not bad. Its a little lighter than I thought and I could do the streaming on my way too and from work.
