How much space should be in my system file?

How much space should be in my system file. I had to do a hard reset cause of some files getting stuck in the system files and was just wondering how much gb it should be taking up with the newest update for 8.1 My phone says it has 3.84 gb in the system files its less than what it was just wanting to make sure that's correct HTC 8x. Thanks.

My system file has 3.87 gb .. and had inserted 8gb class 10 sd card ..
before i used sd card 2 gb ,had my system file just around 3.3 gb ...

My System files has 7.81 GB. I'm sure Microsoft can do better. Hopefully with 8.1 later this year.

1.9gb on my system and I've had 8.1 for months and have over 70 apps installed and music and all. System seems stationary.

Hey for those of you guys with a system files above 5gb... When the 8.1 is released that amount will be reduced drastically.. After installing 8.1 you system files might fall back to 2 or 3 gb mine did Btw I haven't encountered any storage cleaning apps for wp that actually work so don't waste your time....... The only way to clean up your storage pre-8.1 (if you will ) is by doing a hard reset, but if you're a gamer then that means losing all of your progress....
