How to add attachments in email

Hello,

Sounds like a stupid question to even ask, but I really am not able to attach any pdf or word document in an email. How do I do that?

Would really appreciate some help

You can share any file with MS File Explorer, just tap and hold on the file you want to share, a menu to appear with option to do that.

Alternatively you can do the same via Office hub, just tap and hold on the document you want to share

Note: Sharing via Office Hub is available since WP 8.0 GDR3 update, and File Explorers are available for supported on WP 8.1 devices.

It's not possible to attach a document, except for photos, from an email. To email a document or pdf, you need to go to the document and send it by email.

I need to attach while replying to the mail. Is that not possible in WP?

Hmmm, you are new around here aren't you? :wink: This has been discussed many times. No, attaching a document to a reply or forward is not possible, unless there's a workaround that I don't know about.
