How to backup your Contacts?

Alright soon i need to reinstall my ativ S beacuse of ever increasing other storage, so my question is, is there a way to backup your Contacts? I now you can backup applist, Photos, settings etc etc but what about Contacts?

Phone settings backup assistant + sync it for contacts . Also in settings in backup make sure you have all that you want checked, photo, apps, text.
You can also check your SkyDrive to see your contact's are up to date.

Your contacts are already backed up to your Microsoft Account or whatever you used to bring them to your phone in the first place.

As a update you're contacts are backup nightly at a specific time threw the backup assistant + that you can see if you go to settings.

I usually backup my contacts by checking into my Hotmail e-mail and tapping "Sync"
