How to change the default view of the control panel in W10

[Windows Central Question]

Since upgrading the laptop to W10 I've been unable to reset the default view of the control panel from Category to Medium sized icons

Every time I change the view it defaults back to category view the next time I access the control panel

MS support have no answers to this so anyone who has a solution, then please advise.

I think this is the forum software auto system you do not change it.
