How to fix nokia lumia 1520 when hanginng?

it is not responding when you scroll up and down and the clock is stalled at the time it hangs.

I don't know about the 1520, but my 920's manual puts it like this:
"If your phone isn't responding, press and hold the volume down key and power key for about 10 seconds. The phone restarts. You may have to switch your phone on again."

press and hold volume down button and power button for 10 sec when your phone vibrates you're good to go

If you have a SD card, that's probably the problem.
