How to get lost content

Hello folks, I "cut" my memory card content and pasted it into a laptop . Later I used the same process, cut same data from Laptop and pasted that into my memory card. After all the process, I'm not being able to see my photos (other data showing as it is). What to do ?

Have you poked around other albums on the phone? Perhaps they are in the Saved Pictures area, instead of Camera Roll.
