How To Get Rid Of Duplicates Of Music?

I spent a whole Saturday reading that thread and trying different things. At one point, it worked and I got 50Gb of songs without duplicates, but because I tried so many things I don't know what I did last....

And now I'm afraid of adding more songs and screwing up the library again. I'm sure it will be a pain to get it done successfully again.

I think that the songs are synced with the phone's default music player causes the duplicates to appear. Resetting the phone causes it to lose everything saved on it, and will start as if it was new. It sucks that they(Microsoft) haven't fixed this problem completely, but I am glad that you found a solution to this problem.

There's an easy fix for that explained in that other thread. It involves deleting some system files that exist in the phone's memory.

The (long) thread below explains how to fix that problem.
