How to get windows live contact avatars on windows phone

how to I get my windows live contact avatars to display as my windows phone contact avatars automagically?

im not sure what your really asking either. but all my contacts in my phone display an image if there is one linked to the contact by default. most of them are synced up with a FB acct. if there is no image then i would assume either they dont have a FB or a image uploaded to live.

No, I have images in my contacts on Windows Live, the contacts are coming down but not the images. Any ideas.

Here is the issue. I think it is a bug:

I finally got it to sync the contact avatars by reformatting the phone... ridiculous.
