C camaroguy New member Apr 15, 2011 138 1 0 Apr 10, 2012 #2 It will automatically do this if you have a headset hooked up. You can dictate a text message w/out a headset, but you can't have it read one to you (as far as I know).

You can have it read texts to you all the time, just when bluetooth is on, just when a wired headset is connected, etc.
