how to I transfer information from my iphone 4 to the Nokia Lumia 920?

Have an iphone 4s; just purchased a Nokia Lumia 920. Do I take the SIM out of iphone and put into the Nokia? Can I transfer contacts and calendar information? This is all new to me and any help is greatly appreciated

You can sign in on the settings menu > accounts into your icloud id. There you will have all your contacts, calendar and mail synced with your lumia

If you used iMessage on iPhone, you'll need to try to deactivate it or any incoming messages from iPhone-using contacts will just disappear. Guide here https://selfsolve.apple.com/deregister-imessage


I say "try" and deactivate it as the process hasn't worked correctly since they launched iMessage. Anyone would think Apple didn't want people to leave.

I think the 4S sim is the same size as the 920. You should be able to just put it into the 920 and be good to go.
