How to Install Windows on Surface Go ?

Hi friends
How can I format and install windows to surface go ? On the support page, it says we have to enter the serial number of surface go and download a windows home S image from the support page and create a recovery usb drive.

So can we create a recovery usb drive with our own windows 10 which we use on our desktop pcs and laptops ? (not that downloaded windows home s image)

I mean does it have to be that windows home s image which we download with the serial number of surface go ?

Thank you. I read that instruction before. It says enter your surface go serial number and download a windows home s image.

What I wonder is, can I use my Windows 10, instead of the one downloaded from the instruction page ?

Unless you're installing Windows 10 Pro, there's not much reason to install a personal copy. If you don't want to use S Mode, it's free to unlock Windows 10 Home.
