How to leave skype from messaging app

Can any1 help me in removing skype from messaging as it is consuming lot of battery and my mobile data even though I won't use skype so plz help..!

1. Open Messaging App.
2. Tap on three dots on the lower right corner.
3. Tap on "Skype Settings".
4. Sign out.
5. Open Skype video
6. Make sure that you're also signed out in Skype video.
