Hi. Is there a way to lock the screen orientation on Win Phone 8? I have an Ativ-S

No, unfortunately not, but it is rumoured to come in a future update. You can do it in some apps though, in these settings.

I believe DBDev meant there are apps that will allow you to lock your screen orientation while you are within that app, but not for your device.
