How To: Make Perfect Glance Screens

Hello guys,

I was always amazed at how some folks managed to have glance screens that occupied the entire screen and looked great.
Of course, the former completely depends on the resolution of the picture but its hard to imagine having to use an app or worse, the desktop each time to resize each individual picture.

So here's an idea that came to my (baked) head (and I'm sorry if someone else has already pointed this out):

1. Choose your desired pic, it must preferably be on the brighter side.
2. Now zoom into the pic such that it occupies the entire screen.
3. Now take a screenshot.
4. Now, launch the Glance Background app and select the screenshot, use the effect that looks best to you.
5. Save.

Voila!

Is it possible to take a screenshot when in glance mode?

No. Very little services are running in that state and the input from the three function keys is disabled (you have to use the windows button too if you need to take a screenshot).
