How to opt out of Windows insider program on mobile?

As the title says, how?
I'm able to leave the program from within the app but phone stays configured for receiving updates. Is there a possible way to stop getting updates instead of doing hard reset?

Don't know that to be true - you still have to initiate the update thru the app.
Uninstall the app & you should be good to go.

Well, no. That didn't help. Phone stays configured for fast ring updates even if app is uninstalled.

Yes there is, cuz my phone is an HTC 8X device which cannot be updated but is always getting notification that there is an update available.

The only way to exit the insider program is to restore phone to the original s.o. via Windows recovery tool
You cannot exit with the build still installed
