How to play music video while the screen is locked

I wonder if there is any way to play music video (mp4) while the screen is locked ??

Why would you want to play the music video when the screen is locked ? I'm confused whether you want to watch the video or not ? If you just wanna listen to the music rather download and listen to the mp3 under locked screen.

I'm asking because I'm doing the same on android..
Every day, I download mp4 (whether soundtracks or music videos) from YouTube and listen to them anytime even while the phone is in my pocket.
without having to worry about wasting more of the battery

If these are YouTube videos, use the myTube app. It allows to play under lockscreen. Also you can play just the audio.
